2027: As the alliance picks a party, ADC speaks toughly, saying, "We're not here to play politics"

The alliance with a number of important Nigerian leaders will not continue as planned, according to the African Democratic Congress, or ADC.

On Wednesday night, ADC posted a succinct message on its social media page to inform people of this.

The party stated, "We're not here to play politics," with images from their formal launch earlier in the day. Our goal is to create a better future.

The ADC Coalition is a confederation of people dedicated to genuine change, not just a political movement.

"We pose challenging queries. We create practical solutions. We are motivated by purpose rather than by hype.

"Unity Coalition. It's not a party. A people. Let's think. Let's get up. Let's start over.

Among the important figures in the ADC are former Senate President David Mark, former Governor Rauf Argegbesola of Osun State, and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

Former APC National Chairman John Oyegun, former Sokoto State Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, former Attorney General of the Federation Abubakar Malami, former Youth and Sports Minister Dino Melaye, Solomon Dalong, Dele Momodu, the Labour Party (LP) Senators Gabriel Suswam and Ireti Kingibe, former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Emeka Ihedioha, and former Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar (retd.) were among those who attended the unveiling.
