Comic Klintoncod, whose real name is Ekene Clinton Egbuna, has accused Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry founder Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin of taking advantage of his followers by selling them miracle things that don't exist.
Klintoncod called the minister a "nuisance to Christianity" in an Instagram video he uploaded, saying that the minister should have been locked up or committed to a mental institution if the law had been more thoroughly enforced.
Using a comparison to a con artist, the comedian cast doubt on the cleric's authority as a man of God. He admitted that many individuals had lost faith because of his conduct.
The congregation was also singled out for criticism; he accused them of being naive and asked how they could possibly take the pastor seriously.
Continuing to pretend that Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin is not an affront to Christianity is something that Klintoncod questioned.
As we speak, he is likely taking advantage of many naive individuals. I do not believe this man to be a man of God, despite his claims to the contrary.
I fail to see any distinction between him and an individual whose criminal record includes a conviction for fraud.
He makes a living peddling various goods and services, promising that God will do miracles for those who purchase his wares.
Now he went and sealed a bag of sand with nylon, put his face on top, and claimed that if you bought the sand, God would help you construct a house.
I'm sure there are a lot of naive people in his church who will rise up and call him "Papa" when he speaks.
The problem isn't Tinubu or the APC; the problem is that Nigerians are incredibly dimwitted. Some individuals quit going to church because of this guy.
"If this were happening in a rational society, this individual would be locked up or institutionalised," he remarked.
