Alabi Pasuma provided sustenance for his family for three years, according to Nigerian music artist Daddy Showkey.
During Daddy Showkey's most recent live performance at a celebrity event, Pasuma joined him on stage, bringing this to light.
In a video that went popular online, the singer revealed that after his 2007 accident, Pasuma was the only buddy who helped him out.
Daddy Showkey recounted the tale, saying that Pasuma took up his family responsibilities after he spent three years in the hospital due to the deadly tragedy.
He said that many of his acquaintances and coworkers still wouldn't assist him, even after he went to their homes to discuss the matter, despite the fact that Pasuma was his sole industry friend.
You see, this man was there for me through thick and thin. Due to an accident I experienced in 2007, I was unable to perform publicly or for a long time.
I spent three years in the hospital. Pasuma was the one who looked after my relatives. In my life, he will always be remembered.
Following my recovery, I paid others a visit, but they refused to even let me see them, let alone offer any assistance.
"Even when they were inside the house, when I arrived at their houses they would insist that they were not there," Daddy Showkey remarked.
