Skales: "Wizkid never liked me"

Skales, a musician from Nigeria, has stated that Wizkid, a former colleague and label mate, has always disliked him.

The 'Starboy,' he said, has always given off an obnoxious vibe.

An old social media feud between the 'Shake Body' singer and Wizkid was discussed on a recent episode of the 'Listen' podcast.

That Wizkid disliked him has always been a feeling he had, he admitted. For whatever reason, there were times when he made it clear that he didn't like me.

I believe I was conducting a Twitter "question and answer" session when someone asked, "What's up with your guy Wiz?" If you look at the aftermath of our social media interaction, you'll see that I also joked that my brother Wiz was no longer getting any of my attention. 

My parents and I were the targets of Wizkid's insults after that. That should have given you a clue that he was probably thinking of me. My jewelry, he claimed, is false. My ex-girlfriend responded instead of me that time.

When I argue, I choose my battles carefully. I see no use in arguing with you when I know other people will accept your word for it. 

They will always find a way to accuse me of being jealous, no matter what I say. 

People would accuse me of being jealous of Wizkid's success. Thus, that became the rumor that circulated. A while back, I took a seat and declared, "This guy [Wizkid] really don't like me." 

I made an effort to reconcile with him, but he refused to budge. I can tell you with certainty that he disliked me.
