Raphael Onyedika, a midfielder for Club Brugge, has spoken highly of his experience competing in the UEFA Champions League.
Since joining the Belgian Pro League winners, the Nigerian has been a mainstay in the tournament.
The former FC Midtylland player was the star of Club Brugge's midweek match against Celtic.
According to Onyedika, participating in the world's premier club tournament has always been one of his lifelong goals.
"It's a competition that almost every player wants to play in and you have the opportunity to show yourself, play with top teams and top players," Onyedika told the Super Eagles media team.
Not including the sending-off against AC Milan, it's practically a fairytale. Unfortunately, things like these do happen from time to time, and you just can't always prevent them.
Playing in the Champions League is a highlight of my career.
