Bankole Olowookere, head coach of the Flamingos, has acknowledged the high expectations placed on his squad for the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.

In Monday's friendly, Olowookere's squad was held to a 1-1 tie against Mexico.
In the most recent tournament, which was held in India, the Flamingos came in third place.
The coach has promised to train his players for the challenge that lies ahead, and the expectations are high for this team.
"We are well aware of the high expectations, and my technical crew and I are making every effort to equip the girls to manage that pressure," Oluwookore informed Brila FM.
