On Thursday afternoon, a group of twenty-one players, technical crew members, and NFF executives landed in Santo Domingo.
Tuesday saw their departure from Nigeria when they boarded a Turkish plane at Abuja's Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
The team under Bankole Olowookere will likely spend two weeks in Santo Domingo preparing for the tournament.
The hosts Dominican Republic, Ecuador, and New Zealand make up Group A, where the Flamingos are drawn.
On Wednesday, October 16, the West Africans will face off against New Zealand in their first match.
From October 16th to the 3rd, the Dominican Republic will play home to the event.
