The lack of playing time for Nathan Tella, a winger from Nigeria, at Bayer Leverkusen, the champions of the Bundesliga, is making him very unhappy.
After leaving Premier League team Southampton last summer, Tella joined forces with Die Werkself.
Despite his age, the 25-year-old has had trouble making the first squad.
Although he saw most of his action as a substitute, he did appear in 24 league games last year.
So far this season, the Nigerian has played in three league games.
Tella has come out and said that he is unhappy with his current club scenario.
"I must admit, that annoys me. But I did talk to the coach.
He reassured me that possibilities will present themselves, but that I must remain patient.
I need to prove myself when the opportunity presents itself.
Both my performance and my training have been positive, in my opinion.
The coach must now possess the self-assurance to utilize me.
The decisions are made by him, and they function well," he told the German publication BILD.
