A fan's iPhone 16 Pro Max in Germany was smashed by Nigerian musician Asake, who has since been criticized online.
Artist Asake, who was just in Germany for a concert, angrily took the phone from the fan and slammed it against the floor.

In a video that he posted online, a fan named Adeoti showed what happened: he was trying to take a selfie with Asake when he furiously smashed his phone.
He included the following caption: "@asakemusic" My brand new iPhone 16 Pro Max is smashed. You are not going to act that way toward a fan just because they were angry in the club. You are still loved by me, however.
A lot of people were upset at Asake for smashing the phone once the video went viral.
Someone was being needlessly aggressive, according to @CuriousCourtnie.
