Victor Osimhen wanted to travel to England during the last summer transfer window, according to Galatasaray veteran Dževad Prekazi.
This was said by Prekazi, who expressed his astonishment at Osimhen's choice to sign with the Turkish giants, while blaming Napoli for the striker's unsuccessful attempt to reach the Premier League.
After deciding to leave Napoli, Osimhen had planned to play in the Premier League or go back to France's Ligue 1.
But Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain had a hard time signing him because of the high price Napoli put on him.
Through Cumhuriyet, Prekazi spoke with TRT Spor about her shock at Osimhen's visit to Galatasaray.
"He desired a move to England, but the transfer was too expensive for Napoli."
"I have no idea how he arrived in Galatasaray," he continued. It is clear that he will make a significant impact; it is fantastic. He is irreplaceable.
