Chris Brown Expresses Deep Appreciation to Wizkid for Inspiring Chance to Perform Live in the UK

Nigerian singer Skales, whose real name is Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, has claimed that while working with Wizkid at Empire Mates Entertainment (EME), he wrote a plethora of successful songs for the latter.

My largest UK performance in a decade was extended to me by Wizkid. Brown explained that he had never been to the venue before despite performing all throughout the United States.

In addition to inviting him to join the stage, he said that Wizkid paid for all of his expenditures.

Wiz contacted me one day to let me know that he was making preparations for my attendance at his O2 Arena performance.

I was astounded that he covered all of the expenses. "Wizkid is my brother for life," Brown said with emotion.

However, Brown has not performed in the UK since 2009 due to a ban that was issued following his guilty plea for beating Rihanna, who was his girlfriend at the time.

Furthermore, Chris Brown's career-defining appearance at Wizkid's 2021 O2 Arena concert ended his long performance drought in the United Kingdom.

The lasting gratitude Chris Brown has shown for Wizkid's support is a testament to the influence it has had on his career.

Their friendship has stood the test of time because of the mutual regard and love for music that they share.
