Nigerians, according to former Nollywood star and now preacher Yul Edochie, have been "brainwashed" with biblical stories.
This came from Yul as he was scolding Nigerians for their familiarity with biblical figures but lack of interest in their own ancestry.
According to GROWING2GETHER7, Yul revealed his church, True Salvation Ministry, TSM, in January 2024.
In a recent Facebook post, Yul emphasized that Nigerians should stop focusing on biblical figures like Jacob, Moses, and the Israelites and instead explore their own cultural heritage and historical traditions.
We have been indoctrinated to believe that we are experts on the Israelites, including Moses, Isaac, and Jacob. But our family tree, its members, and the great people who came before us are all mysteries to us.
You can't possibly know your destination if you aren't familiar with your own identity and background.
