Finidi George, Rivers United's technical adviser, has said that his squad will play the correct strategy in their upcoming match against Shooting Stars.
According to Finidi, the players need to get some rest after their lengthy journey to Katsina.
He went on to say that the coaching staff will get the team ready for the match.
Thursday night's midweek match at Port Harcourt's Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium will pit Rivers United against Shooting Stars.
"We'll make sure the boys get enough rest after the two-day trip," Finidi assured the Rivers United journalists.
"Being on the road hasn't been easy, but we'll prepare them for Shooting Stars."
According to GROWING2GETHER7, in the identical matchup last season, Rivers United prevailed against Shooting Stars 1-0 thanks to a goal from Nyima Nwagua.
