Odumeje, whose real name is Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, has revealed that he was a 14-year-old armed robber.
As Odumeje revealed, he was a child living in the Onitsha neighborhood in Anambra State on a perilous street.
In discussing his conversion from a life of crime to Christianity, the preacher made the confession.
According to Odumeje, who addressed his members in a video that went viral, he was driven to a life of crime because to his terrible upbringing on a tough street.
He said that his mother, who led him to Christ and showed him the way to redemption, was the one responsible for his change.
"I was born in Onitsha city, No. 3, Nnewi Street, and I grew up in a dangerous street," Odumeje stated.
My journey into armed robbery began when I was fourteen years old. I turned terrorist. Until my mother helped me accept Jesus Christ as my personal Savior, my life remained unchanged.
Even a destroyer turned rescuer.
